Mountain to Sound Adventure Day Camp
M2S Adventure Day Camp:
We want to provide local children and parents a safe, unique and affordable summer activity that builds skill, confidence, team work and local knowledge.
Join us for a unique take on kids summer day camps! Stand up
paddleboarding (SUP) in the morning on Alki Beach with various
off-site adventures each afternoon using our 14 person school bus for
transportation. Each session is supervised by experienced
SUP and Kayak guides and instructors. Keep your kids close to home and give them the
skills they need to enjoy exploring West Seattle’s backyard.
Space is limited
to 12 campers per week, reservations are required.

For kids aged 11-15 only.
$345/week - includes all SUP/kayak rentals and a free t-shirt!
$275 for additional weeks or 2 or more children.
What do the campers need to bring?
- Water compatible clothing & shoes. Options are available at Mountain to Sound Outfitters.
- Change of clothes
- Towel
- Sunscreen
- Bag lunch & snacks (let us know if you need us to provide a lunch for your child at an additional charge).
- Individual extras (allergy medication, etc.)
- Adventurous attitude!
Schedule:
Monday - Friday:
Drop off location: Alki Kayak Tours (1660 Harbor Ave SW).
9:00 am - Noon: Each day starting at 9 we will explore the exciting sport of Stand-Up Paddleboarding. Basic overview, on land instruction, SUP training, and on water paddling will be the focus all week, culminating with a SUP paddle exploration on the last day. Paddleboards, paddles and PFDs (life jackets) will be provided. Experienced guides and instructors provided. Water friendly clothing suggested. Options are available at Mountain to Sound Outfitters.
12:00 - 1:00 pm: Lunch at Alki Beach, on the Bus or at our afternoon destination. We will have morning and afternoon snacks available.
1:00 - 4:00 pm: Each afternoon campers will have a different themed activity and will travel by our 14 passenger short bus shuttle. Each afternoon is subject to change or adapt to the camper group make-up. The tentative schedule is below.

Learn to work in a team in tandem kayaks and paddle around Elliott Bay. |

Field trip to Mt. Baker Beach on Lake Washington or to Coleman Pool in Lincoln Park. |

Wheels | Trip to Delridge Skate Park and Delridge Play Field for skateboarding, inline skating, field games, frisbee golf or a bike adventure at Alki Beach. |

Field trip to Camp Long, Lincoln Park, or Schmitz Park. |
* The schedule is subject to small changes or revisions based on weather, group abilities, and special events. If adverse weather, possible fields trips may include: Seattle Aquarium, Science Center, Woodland Park Zoo, Museum of Flight, Seattle Art Museum.
** Daily rates are available upon request. If you are interested in having your child participate for only a day or two, give us a call at (206)935-7669.

**** All guides are CPR and First Aid trained and certified. Please let us know if your child has any special needs.
